Summary: Uriel is showing.

Uriel didn't know whether she should be more excited or scared. Her hand was tightly clutching a picture of her still unborn baby, and every now and then she looked at it as though to reassure herself that yes, she was indeed going to have a baby.

A winged baby. Wings that were white even in the ultrasound. She had managed to make her doctor believe that it was probably just a glitch in the device, but she would not have another ultrasound. The last thing she needed was the human doctor realizing that yes, her baby indeed had wings.

It did reassure her, though. Her baby seemed angelic; that should make it easier for others to accept.

Well, soon enough she would know. That morning she had noticed that her robe could no more conceal her ever growing stomach. If anybody saw her now, they would know that she was either pregnant or had gained more weight than was really likely for an angel. It wasn't hard to figure out which they would rather think.

She could only hope Adam could indeed keep her safe.

Sighing, Aziraphale checked his watch a last time. He'd ordered several boxes of books to be delivered to the Manor today, and the delivery was due within the hour. He went downstairs, wishing he'd still had his cane around.

And then he saw the familiar face at the lobby and his face brightened. "Uriel!" he cried, going over to her. "How lovely to see you. How are you doing?"

The doctor?" Aziraphale asked in surprise. "Whyever would you need..." His voice trailed off, and he glanced down at her visibly rounded stomach.

"Oh."

"That's... congratulations," the angel said faintly, fingertips brushing his glasses. "I- how far along?"

"Um."

He covered his mouth with one manicured hand, pulling back a bit, exclaiming quietly, "It's so little."

The next, most obvious question occurred to him next. "Are you quite all right? I mean, do you happen to have anyone to help you with this, at all? I didn't know if you were- were involved with anyone, I mean..." He blushed.

"Well, if you need any help at all, my dear, don't hesitate to ask. I do owe you, after all. I wouldn't mind helping you with anything you need." He smiled kindly, fatherly.

More gently now, he asked, "And... would you prefer to I kept this to myself?"

Aziraphale nodded. "All right. It is rather difficult to hide a newborn, and this Manor isn't quite large enough for that."

He heard a ruckus behind him as the delivery boy fumbled his entrance into the Manor, and turned gracefully, hands searching his pockets for a pen.

"And..." The angel turned just as gracefully back, enfolding one of Uriel's small hands in his own. "Do not forget that I will help you. At the very least, I would be delighted to babysit." The angel leaned close, so that the delivery boy would not here, and whispered, "It should be fun with those wings."

He smiled and let go, backing away. "Ta, Uriel, do take care." Aziraphale glanced at the delivery boy. "And those packages are mine, dear boy. Do be careful!"

Crowley had been looking for Aziraphale to see if he could be tempted to lunch. He hadn't expected to find him blushing and smiling at the Severer, who kept rubbing her stomach. The word 'newborn' drifted across the lobby and he raised an eyebrow. The other followed when Aziraphale took Uriel's hand and leaned in to whisper in her ear. As they parted with mutual smiles, Crowley decided he wasn't hungry and returned to his room.

Bast felt uriel's fizz of emotions even as she leapt from the top of the desk (it had become one of her favourite sleeping places as of late) and on to the angel shoulders - being a fairly small cat, this wasn't a bad as it sounded. She studied the picture. //Hmm. Wel, at least you can see what your kitten looks like too now. Who you gonna show next?.//

A pink and yellow butterfly flitted by the angel and cat goddess.

"I like kittens. They're a bit like kitchens... but furrier. Who's having kitchens?"

Delirium perched awkwardly on the pink chair and tilted her head curiously at Uriel.
