sister-mary-laq.livejournal.comSetting: Tadfield Manor; public; Pestilence and Sister Mary... and anyone else?
Sister Mary sneezed rather violently right into her cold coffee, splaying her meticulous paperwork with brown splotchs and snot. She looked around carefully before surreptitiously wiping her nose on her sleeve.
Picking up the rather fine pen that her new server had left her, she looked back at her ToDo list. Really, she needed to figure out what to do about hiring someone to do massages in the new Spa. That Hospital Services consultant had assured her the the old Hospital Wing was in fairly good shape. Yes, it needed some updates and a good cleaning -- but all in all, it could be a functional health care facility.
Not that Sister Mary had any ideas about that! No, after hearing back from her financial consultant, she was more than satisfied to open the old hospital wing as a Spa. She was certain her guests would appreciate access to services like massages and mud baths.
She sighed. She could use a massage herself.
Another sneeze hit her then. She looked around for the gardener. Perhaps he'd been cutting the grass today?
What she really needed was masseuse with some basic First Aid Skills. Hell, she'd settle for someone with experience in Hospitals!
This time she was hit with a body-wracking set of sneezes and coughs.
"Damn," she muttered. "Must be a bad air or something."
