Summary: Having a look at the stomach.
A frown marked Uriel's face as she looked at her naked reflection. The mirror didn't lie, or at least she was fairly sure it didn't. Her body looked exactly like it should on all accounts, so the mirror hardly could be flawed.
Well, there were two things that had changed in either her reflection or herself. For one, her breasts seemed bigger than they had been when she had originally turned female. Not a lot, but definitely enough for her to notice. And for another...
Slowly, she ran a hand over her stomach. Previously it had been prefectly flat, completing her "small and slender" image. Now, however, there was a little bump on it. It wasn't much yet, easily concealed by her robe, but it was there. And, with time, it would grow.
Both thrilled and terrified at the thought of the child growing inside her becoming actually visible, she sighed as she miracled clothes on herself. The robe fell straight down from her breasts only to be loosely gathered by a belt on her hips. The folds of white fabric hid her belly easily enough. Soon enough, though, anybody could see it.
She'd never cared much about her appearance, and height had definitely never been an issue to her although she'd always been shorter than most angels. Now, however, she was smaller than even Raphael. Pestilence, on the other hand, was about average in height, so her baby would probably be fairly normal-sized. This meant that her condition would be obvious even sooner, her small frame emphatizing the size of her stomach.
Although she could hardly wait to hold her child, she did not look forward to the labour.
