Status: Private - The Them
Setting: Wensley's room
Summary: The Them are spying...

Footsore but happy, Adam returned to Wensley's room at 7 o'clock. He'd walked all over the Manor and listened in to a lot of conversations during the past few hours, and from the looks of things people were quite excited about the party. So was Adam.

He knocked on the door again eagerly.

"Wens? Open up! I've got lots to tell you..."

"As do I you..."

Wensley walked up the corridor quickly, bemused by the sight of Adam knocking on his empty door. Walking past him to unlock the door, he ushered his friend into the room.

"Well?" he asked, settling on the bed. "You first."

"Yep, right here..." Wensley reached into his brest pocket, pulling out a neatly folded sheet of bright yellow paper. "Um. Mr. Crowley and that blond fellow, the one who smokes- Mr. Constantine, that's his name- are going together. I'm not quite sure as what, but they're definitely dressing up. Then there's this one blonde lady, she's quite new here. You wouldn't happen to know her, would you? I think she might be going as Joan of Arc. And the barkeeper, Belial, is going as Cleopatra. He hasn't got anyone going with him, so far as I know." He copied the people Adam had listed onto his sheet.

"Are we missing anyone?"

"Those pairs sound fine. Only...do you have any idea where Brian and Pepper are? I haven't seen them for weeks. Right, costume ideas. Well, it'd have to be something that's embarrassing, or totally different from what their personality's like. No way," he stopped for a moment, trying to convey how little interest he had in dressing up. "It's Stupid, Adam, really stupid."

Wensley sighed. He may act like a stick in the mud, but one thing he hated more than anything was seeing his friends sad. "Fine, I'll dress up," he muttered, feeling better when Adam perked up like a dog offered a bone. "I'm not choosing my own costume, though, so you'll have to come up with something. You know I don't have a very good imagination."

"Now, back to those costumes..."
