Summary: Anathema informs Loki of Bran's birth.


After spending time looking after Uriel with the help of Gabriel, and now that Uriel had her new baby boy, Bran, Anathema sighed and shook her head. She had been puttign off seeing Loki since the rather hectic birth. Maybe it was too much excitement for one day?

She knew that Loki would want to know about the birth of his nephew however.

Opening the door to Loki's room, she smiled when she spotted him in his bed reading a book.

"Hello Loki," she said, moving slowly into his room. She wondered how much he had heard. Did he already know?

"Anathema!" Loki exclaimed. "Where have you been all day? I almost thought you'd forgotten me."

Of course he'd heard that something had been going on outside his door, but the sounds had been too muffled to tell what exactly was going on and besides he'd been bored. Normally Anathema would come in several times a day to see how he was doing, nag at him to eat more or just keep him company. Just being left alone for several hours during daytime was unusual and Loki felt a bit neglected.

"Where have I been? Oh, you know, just for walks and errands and deliverign babies. You know, the usual."

She smiled brightly at Loki. There was only one pregnant persobn in the manor, or one person who had been pregnant.

"Babies? What? Who? When? Where?" Wasn't it much too soon for Uriel to have her baby? Maybe there was a new pregnant person who'd only just moved in?

Or perhaps Anathema was just teasing him. "Oh right, almost had me there." He pouted at her. "Now tell me what's really going on."

"What is really going on is that Uriel just had a baby boy. It's normal for a first pregnancy not to go to full term. The baby was a little early, but not dangerously so."

"Really?" Bran! Here! Now! Loki could barely believe his luck. He'd actually live to see Uriel's baby. "Can I see him? Is he okay? Is Uriel okay? Is she really naming him Bran? Can I hold him? When did it happen? Did Odin come to see him, yet?"
