(Because Crowley asked for threads, but I'm not at my best today ...)

Time: October 21, 2000
Place: Hospital Wing
Status: Public
Summary: Well, nobody told Loki he couldn't leave once he felt better.

He'd slept for several hours and was feeling much stronger now. Or at least Loki thought that he must feel a lot stronger after this much rest. It wasn't worthy of an Asgardian god to lie in bed and whine at people all the time. He should be up and about as long as he still could.

The little bit of weak feeling and sickness he still felt was probably just the pill they'd made him swallow before he'd gone to sleep.

He felt ashamed when he thought of the pathetic scene he'd made in front of John, Anathema and Gabriel. What a worthless weakling! They must be so disgusted by him.

Determined not to be a pathetic weakling any longer Loki rolled out of bed to return to his room. He was better now. He could rest some more in his own bed.

The world tilted like a ship and for a moment everything went black again, but he clung to the bed and slowly the black spots receded to the point where he could orient himself again. Okay, keep leaning on the wall to stay upright and one step, two steps ... Slowly Loki inched towards the door and out into the main room of the hospital wing.

Now, which way was out?

No worries, not like I've been terribly prompt or anything. *shame*

"I, er." Brian looked sideways at Loki, then said in an undertone to Uriel, "Listen, can I get anybody? I'm just . . . I dun't know how to help with him all nervous of me, dun't know why he is anyway, an' . . ." He trailed off. He was quite a bit out of his depth.
