Warlock felt odd. He had only been at Tadfield Manor for a few hours before he realised that the occupants (either guests or staff) were perhaps more than they appeared to be.

Warlock had shuffled along to find a room for himself. No one seemed to object, or give him any indication of where he should go or what he should do. The place almost seemed deserted sometimes, and the suddenly some stranger (some strange stranger) would pop out of a room or come speeding down the halls.

Warlock’s room was number 255. It was a nice room, very old and very dark... but nice. Warlock hurled his bag onto the bed and opened it. he hadn't packed much. He took out his PJ’'s and placed them under his pillow and walked to the bathroom and put his tooth brush beside the sink then he walked back out and sat on the bed. He let out a sigh.

"What am I doing here?" He said aloud. It had never occurred to him that he might actually miss his home, his room, his mother. Warlock began to cry softly to himself.
