Frankie barked, dropped the letter, then ate the cookie which disappeared once it entered his mouth and his stomach briefly glowed. He barked again then picked up the letter and walked out.

Taking the letter with him, he went back home and waiting for Raphael to visit again. When he did, the angel was preoccupied with talking to Eliza in an animated fashion, apparently bringing her good news of success in his endeavors.

When handed the letter, he smiled vacantly, shrugged, then tossed it into the kitchen fire and went back to celebrating with Eliza and Johannes over the coming birth.
