It must be something about Uriel, since if she had made him leave on purpose, she hardly would have sought him out afterwards."
He frowned in thought. "She apparently isn't about to tell him. Whether it's to keep the child from him or protect him, I don't know. She fears either herself or the kid's father will get punished for the situation, you see. Angels having children with non-angels has usually led to at least one of the parents getting killed for it."
A tiny smirk touched his lips and he said, mostly to himself, "I wonder if I'll have to actually keep my word."
