The Doctor wrinkled his nose. "They just tried to make sure the things that needed to happen did happen. Or that the things that didn't never did. I don't know." He shrugged. "I wasn't one of the higher-ups. I just followed orders. If they called me with a mission, I had to obey, like it or not." Considering he'd stolen the TARDIS, he hadn't much choice in the matter.
"Bit of a strange decision," he mused. "A haven for the impossible." He scratched his ear. "Bit strange I didn't hear about it before, really. Ah well." He shrugged and smiled. "Won't dwell on it. I'm here now." Although for how much longer he wasn't sure. Maybe he'd leave for a bit to get his head sorted out but come back later. He hadn't decided yet.
He absent-mindedly patted Adam's shoulder. "Well done with sticking with your idea. Most would have given up by now, when they saw just how hard it was. Is. Whatever."
