John knelt near Pepper's head, out of Anathema's way, and said, "Oi, Pepper. It's John. You remember," he added, seeing how confused the young woman looked, "the lousy Sid Vicious impersonator? Now you're gonna stay awake and talk to me while this lady fixes your arm, yeah, pet? 'Cause I'd hate to have to break out the Gary Glitter."
