He waved a hand at Mictain and War, and turned from the gathering to head back into the lobby. It was silent now, without Uriel at the desk. He crossed over to the TARDIS, opened the door, and stepped inside.

The TARDIS asked him if he thought it was a good idea, giving her a more advanced weapon.
He replied of course it was, as he pushed some old switchboards out of the way. It was a more advanced weapon, therefore it wasn't as primitive or harmful as bullets. Anyway, it wasn't as if he was giving her a sonic blaster.
