He waved a hand at the others at the party. "Some people here don't believe what I am," he said. "They think I'm a madman with a box." Which, in fairness, was quite true. "I believe angels and demons exist. I just don't believe there is some kind of higher power dictating our lives, and that they're agents of that power. I think angels and demons are just another type of alien, one I haven't faced before. Maybe they've been on Earth so long they've forgotten they're alien. At any rate..." His voice dropped again and steel flashed in his eyes for a moment. "If they mean any harm to humanity, they have me to face.
"I'm a Time Lord, by the way," he added. "From Gallifrey. Nice to meet you, demon Mic, unless I've already said that."
