The Doctor's smile didn't fade, but the emotions behind it lessened a little bit. It was stupid, anyway, looking for links back to Rose, still acting as if she was part of his life. She was gone. Remember that? She's gone.

Next thing you knew, he'd be looking for the words Bad Wolf*...

He shook his head suddenly, just once. "Medication? Oh, I don't need medication. I'm the Doctor. Medication..." A slightly dangerous smile, "is what I give others. A taste of their own medicine."

He leaned back, away from Mictain. "Anyway," he said brightly, "Mic. What brings you to the Manor?"
