Sirius' slobber was enough to break up any reverie.

"Eurgh!" Remus groaned in disgust, rubbing at his face and fumbling for a scrap of fabric he kept in a back pocket. "I can not believe you just-!" He wiped it away, silencing that voice that said perhaps it was just as well Sirius had interrupted them. The voice had nothing on turkey-and-cheese dog breath.
