Ellie didn't like Beelzebub and had no sympathy for him whatsoever, but she liked this turn of events even less. Judicious threats were one thing, but Belial's tactics were now drawing perilously close to a line she hoped not to see him cross, now that he had a choice. It was...unseemly. Too much, she thought, like something Lucifer might do.
"Belial," she said quietly, her arms folded uncomfortably across her body. "I believe he understands. Can we please go?"
