He'd consider himself warned about John, though. He'd been beginning to trust this human and trusting people was never a good idea. He reminded himself sternly to be more cautious.
"How do you know he isn't controlling your mind? He practically admitted to being able to do so when I met him."
He wasn't glad to have guessed right about Mictain. The place had too many not-gods and too few humans. It didn't worry him that there were only three other gods around. He was used to being a minority, but a minority among humans, not mad godlike beings.
