Summary: Loki and Horus finally talk
He’d been neglecting Sleipnir, Loki thought. Normally when his son was this close he wouldn’t have let this much time elapse between visits, but he needed to get the money for the doctor’s bills together and sometimes he just felt too sick to do much of anything.
Today was one of his better days, though and it was too early to have much hope to find anyone in the bar. The few people he’d seen in the restaurant as he’d passed had all been regulars who by now were suspicious of him and refused to play.
He wasn’t feeling hungry, so he’d grabbed some treats for the horses and was headed for the stables.
It was a nice, warm day with just a slight breeze blowing and Loki caught himself humming softly as he strolled down the garden path.
