"Well, I guess we'll find out soon enough," said Adam confidently. He stripped off his bottoms quickly, his back to Ellie, and pulled on some green y-fronts and a pair of baggy jeans because he didn't trust himself around her. Then he pulled on some trainers without bothering to do up the laces.

"Okay, I'm ready."
