Uriel found himself being drawn to Pestilence, tiny kisses raining all over his face. It took him a moment to fully understand the horseman's words, his mind being too overwhelmed by his relief and left-over fear.
"I'm fine," he whispered, then repeated almost as if to convince himself, "I'm fine. I'm just... a bit upset at what he said. I thought -- I really thought you were going to get hurt. Badly hurt. And I don't want you to be harmed, Pestilence. Especially not because of me." All the time he clung to Pestilence as if afraid he would fade away. "We're both alright," he then murmured, "everything will be just fine..."
