You may not be beautiful in the tall, fragile, ethereal way that is usually associated with angelic beauty, but that does not make you odd, just different. If you manage to be small and freckled and still pretty, the more power to you, I think. And believe me, you could have a third eye in the middle of your forehead and green hair on your hands and you'd still be a whole lot more beautiful than most demons.
"You're definitely prettier than that fucking bastard Uriel, anyway," he added then. "Has he ever even heard that hair ought to be brushed sometimes?"
He shrugged. "You go get your water," he said. "And then you can return to your cold, dark, empty, lonely room."
