Adam stared at the archangel. This wasn't actually what he had come to discuss, but he was adaptable and this was important.
"Raphael," said Adam quietly. "Why are you doin' this? You know it's wrong to lie and to use people, but you're doin' it anyway. You're even lyin' to yourself. You know you're never gonna be ready to tell him the truth. And the longer you wait the more it's gonna hurt. It's not fair. To either of you."
