As the stunning woman glided towards him, Crowley could do nothing but stare. If he'd been human he'd have guessed she was his guardian angel, but he knew better than that. Angels never wear stylish trousers. Vaguely, he wondered if that thought meant he'd sustained another concussion.
Then she identified herself. Ellie? The Ellie? What was she doing here? He started laughing again and it hurt.
"Klaatu barada nikto, beautiful," he managed to say with only a slight wince and a cough. "While we're trading movie quotes, let's just say that Raphael couldn't handle the truth."
