Crowley nodded, slightly reassured. He was too familiar with the sigils and the languages to worry about getting those wrong, and he didn't think Belial would mind if it shielded him from someone else, so long as it wasn't Gabriel. And if there should there be backlash, well, Crowley had been thinking about doing it himself anyway.

The only person he'd really have to watch out for was Aziraphale. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he accidentally cut the angel off from the Presence. But he didn't want to think about that. So long as he concentrated and did it all properly, everything should be fine.

"Another good suggestion, John. That's why I need you with me. But you're right, he can be rather unpredictable at times..." Crowley shook his head. "How the hell did you do this before?"
