As Pestilence was dragging DEATH towards the doors of the manor, out of the corner of his eye, he caught the tender kiss between Famine and Pollution, and it gave him pause. He understood lust. That was easy enough. Lust was one of his best allies in proliferating disease. Syphilis, AIDS, Gonorrhea, Hell, even TB. He could appreciate lust. The kiss that had just passed between Famine and Pollution wasn't just lust (though there was a little, lets be honest). The kiss they shared was born from the other "L" word. And that "L" word he had never understood at all. The enormous grin slowly slipped off of the former horesperson's face, and he suddenly felt very alone. He had had flings, of course. How else would social diseases have started and spread in the first place? Hell, he had even been with a few of the other horsepeople. It had been convenient and fun. But it had never had anything to do with the "L" word. His jaw clenched and he his fingers spasmed a little in the dark fold of DEATH's cloak. "Let go inside." He said quietly, looking back at Famine and Pollution with a sad smile. He finally managed to push everyone through the doors and down in the direction of the bar. It was a good time for a quiet drink.
