"Oh, the sphinx brought him," Loki said as if it were the most natural thing in the world for a sphinx to carry around a rat in a box. "She's somewhere next doors looking for another box to put him in."
He wished he had some food that he could give the little animal, but unfortunately Anathema had already taken away the leftovers of his last meal. There wasn't much else he could think of to reassure a frightened rat. At least not while he was unable to shape-change.
