Date: January 31st, 2001
Setting: Tadfield Manor
Status: Public
Summary: He's home.

The grey, cascading sky reminded Aziraphale of the day he had left, and the heavy, drizzly rain was utterly similar. England in November hardly changed from England in January, although Aziraphale suspected that Tadfield didn't often suffer the usual bouts of wet weather. Something to do with an Antichrist inhabiting the area, clearly.

Looking up at the familiar brick walls, he felt a quiet relief fill in, like a breath he hadn't taken in too long. He opened the door and soon his favoured umbrella, feeling the first stretch of dampness in the air settle into his clothing. The angel got out awkwardly, cane in hand, and breathed slowly.

Well, he was home now, that was the main thing.

He turned back to Chas, tucking his hand inside his tweed coat (he would fix that later, after a bit of tea and perhaps a nap), and pulling out a small wad of pound notes. "How...?"

"Do you really think so?" Uriel asked, smiling a bit. "Well, he certainly does have my hair." But not her eyes. Her eyes had been green for almost all of her existence. With another smile, she added, "And my wings, too. I wonder when he'll learn to fly."

"Hopefully the first thing he learns is how to stop," Uriel said, sighing a bit. "But yes, it should be interesting, keeping an eye on him when he gets a bit older. Average children can only run, after all." Smiling, she added, "I hope I won't have to look for him on top of book shelves instead of just under them."

"Well, I sure hope so," Uriel sighed. "I wish Odin came back, though; I'd like for him to see Bran. And Bran should meet his uncle, too!" There were indeed quite a few supernatural entities around Bran -- much more than she had expected in her first moments of panic about the news.
