It wasn't really a surprise. John carrying him through the corridors must have been quite a show and for a hotel Tadfield Manor was a surprisingly tight-knit community.
He sat up and put the book he'd been reading to pass the time aside hoping that War wouldn't pay any attention to just what he was reading. "So how's it going? I haven't seen you in a while."
