Setting: Somewhere in the Manor
Summary: It's in the nature of most new mothers to want to show off their child.

Lately Uriel's attention hadn't really been on the events of the Manor. This might have been called understandable, considering that she had other things to be attentive about.

Right now, however, Bran was quite peacefully asleep on her arm, all her friends were who-know-where, and she was bored. Therefore Uriel decided to wander around a bit. Perhaps she'd find somebody to talk with to find out whether anything new had happened.

And, of course, to show her baby to anyone even the tiniest bit interested.

"Yeah, sounds about right." John chuckled. "Well, 'scuse me, ladies, I got places to be. Mind you don't break too many hearts, Bran, I'm not sure if that's covered in Adam's no-harm policy..." He looked around for Ellie, intending to take her aside and privately make sure she wasn't having any nasty infanticidal notions, but the succubus had already slipped away, so he nodded to the remaining women and followed suit.

Luna looked after John's retreating back and half-shrugged. She'd rather liked the man - he was unusual, even by Wizarding standards. Someone who could claim easy familiarity with gods and angels certainly would be interesting. Maybe not the center of attention at a cocktail party, but nevertheless, interesting.

"Oh my," said Luna as Bran yawned widely, little pink tongue showing. Really, at this age all babies seemed to resemble one another. "I think it's time for little Bran's nap," laughed Luna lightly, handing Bran back to Uriel.
