(no subject)
Date: December 28th, 2000
Status: Semi-Private (Uriel, Bast, Doctor, Anathema, Gabriel, Others?)
Setting: Lobby, Hospital Wing
Summary: Only 4% of babies are born on due date.
When she later thought about it, the contractions had started in the morning. Only then she hadn't paid much attention to them, thinking of them as false labour. However, as they were becoming more regular and didn't change or stop as she walked around for a bit around lunch*, she figured maybe it wasn't just that.
Finally she decided that yes, apparently Bran had got enough of his rather limited living space and wanted out. The contractions were clearly regular. She'd better call the hospital wing and make her way there.
Her only problem was, she couldn't get up from her chair.
After another try or three, she finally spotted K9 making its way across the lobby. "K9!" she called out. "Could you please get the Doctor here? I kind of could use some help here."
*In all honesty, it was waddling. She'd given up walking a while ago already. She felt like her size had at least doubled due to her expanded stomach.
