Looking as subdued as he felt, John walked in and quietly closed the door behind him. He wasn't sure whether he was glad to have found Loki here or not. He really, really wasn't looking forward to having this conversation.
The more he'd thought about it (once sober) the less likely it had seemed that Aziraphale really had anything to do with Uriel's pregnancy, except maybe as a friend and fellow angel offering support. It just wasn't his style, Oscar Wilde or no Oscar Wilde. And Loki had a habit of making assumptions and treating them as fact, and thrived on chaos by his own admission. John didn't want to make assumptions of his own, hence the conversation he was about to start, but it just wasn't looking too promising.
Dammit, he hated getting stuck between friends.
"Hey," he greeted the god with a slight unconvincing smile. "Long time no see. Have you got a minute?"
