"Hullo, Wens!" said Adam happily, taking the cloth. "It's the most amazin' cake I've ever seen. P'raps you'd better cut it. I don't wanna mess it up." He beamed at his friend, half immensely proud of Wensley for making it and half embarrassed that so many people had pitched in for his surprise party.
