Ellie had made a long career out of reading the signals men sent her way, both subtle and otherwise. She could guess the gist of Loki's thoughts, at least as they pertained to her--though he was remarkably good at not projecting anything overtly. Then again, if she remembered her Norse mythology, he was a trickster by profession, so that would stand to reason. "Well, maybe I can help you catch up on the news. Not that I'm right in the thick of the action, myself, such as it is."
