His tone had even more bitterness now-- he may have failed Remus, and that hurt, but Remus was strong and could look after himself for the most part. Harry had needed him, and he'd been helpless.
"I would've gone to the Department of Mysteries that day no matter what you did. I don't care about freedom, Remus, I just care about being able to protect the people I love."
